Fine Artist

My art is inspired by the natural world and experience; the skies, the dales and the woodlands of Derbyshire where I live; by literature, film, art history, science and mythology. These all influence and shape my internal narrative. I use my sketchbooks and photographs to develop my ideas into paintings in my studio in Wirksworth. I value skills and technique, using colour, light and composition to express meaning and emotion.
