Based in the beautiful Derbyshire Dales in the East Midlands, I am a nationwide photographer offering a modern take on interiors, lifestyle and portrait photography.
I’m a lover of nature, conscious and considered living and I’m particular keen to work with people and organisations that are working to make the planet a better place.
I was first given a camera by my aunt when I was around 8. It would become my way to see the world, provide escapism and give me a form of figuring it all out. I also spent hours in my Grandad’s rambling garden, helping him grow vegetables, tending to his owl box and accompanying him on walks with binoculars to his hides he’d built around the town. This love of the outdoors and our responsibility to look after it has weaved its way through my life.
I’ve now been a freelance photographer for over 15 years creating imagery for books and magazines working with natural light. A former picture editor, I combine my editorial background with my deep connection to nature to create imagery that is peaceful and calm with an emphasis on observing the every day, recording moments that perhaps would have just slipped by unnoticed.
