Sarah’s practice, focusses within the notion of abstracted and unexpected elements, within the rural or urban landscape. Little intricacies, which allow us to explore and question our immediate and wider surroundings. Often cyclical, the works weave a construct between past, present and future, through drawings, paintings and aspects of ritual performance and altar building.
An ex Fine Art and Graphic Design Lecturer, Sarah said goodbye to teaching in 2022 to focus on gallery management at Haarlem Artspace and the further development of her own work. Sarah is a current director of Haarlem Artspace.
